The Dreamville Foundation
Our Mission Statement
To reveal to the urban youth, their limitless potential, through positive life- altering experiences.
I want to start the process of showing them there are other options besides what's on the screen. They don't have to be a rapper or an athlete; there are people who manage the rappers, who book the shows. There are so many jobs you can do; this is about expanding their minds to those possibilities.

Programs
Back To School Supply Giveaway
Growing up, one of the most exciting moments about starting school again was back to school shopping. A time when kids have the opportunity to choose they're new backpack, binder, folders, clothing, etc. Unfortunately, many of the youth in Cumberland County aren't afforded this opportunity because of their financial status at home. The Dreamville Foundation would like to give these youth the opportunity to be "Set-up for Success", providing them with essentials tools in preparation for a successful school year.
The Dreamville Foundation X DTLR Young Men's Book Club
The Dreamville Foundation partnered with DTLR to launch their book club to Fayetteville, North Carolina. The book club is an initiative established to improve the reading and comprehension skills and passion for reading within young men. J. Cole is extremely passionate about reading and encourages the youth to read by not only part taking but also sharing his own personal experiences with reading books and gaining a wealth of knowledge.
The Nobody's Perfect Writing Contest and Mother's Day Brunch
This program is an essay contest allowing students to express their gratitude for the role models, who make positive contributions to their lives and accomplishing their future goals. The Brunch celebrates the contest winners, their role models, and close family. Each participant is awarded with a prize, which contributes to his or her future career goals. In past years students have been awarded, with stipends to Basketball, Dance, and Academic Camps, Camcorders, and gift certificates.
Annual Dreamville Weekend
